Biomimetics (from bio, “life”, and mimesis, “to imitate”), is the science that studies nature as a source of inspiration for innovative technologies. DUNAS installation is an exercise in EMPATHY, by reinterpreting the movements of sand produced by the wind in the deserts, in a light art machine that reproduces this natural effect in an abstract way.
